So many negative stories seem to be circulating and I don't know about you but I find it very depressing. I was walking home from the gym the other night and I thought what if we had positive stories about people in our newsletter? The very thought of those positive stories made me feel better! So this is my idea. Please share a story about something positive that has happened to you and send it to the Secret Garden. Erin and I will pick a story to go in the newsletter and the author of the story will receive a high tea for two gift certificate! Let's make the world a better place by sharing positive stories!!!!! Tara's Shark StoryOne of our Secret Garden servers Tara Tretheway is currently visiting her Dad in Belize and she sent us this story about her shark experience: Then after lunch, we went back out there and I jumped in and my guide all of a sudden took hold of my hand and started dragging me to the side (I was frustrated, thinking he just thought I couldn't see the shark we were following and was trying to get me closer). But he wasn't doing that...he suddenly pointed right underneath me and I looked down into the darkness and sure enough a HUGE WHALE SHARK WAS POINTING RIGHT AT ME!!!! HE WAS COMING UP AND ALL I COULD SEE WAS HIS HUGE MOUTH AND EYES. This could easily pass as the scariest moment in my life...I swam as fast I could to get out of the way before it surfaced....I can't believe I did it! I faced a huge fear of mine!" Lindsay Peacock, Jane Edgar Thomas, and Theresa Pearson have been meeting at The Secret Garden on their due dates for each of their seven children! Kids names are -

Garden season has finally arrived! Come and see our lovely cherubic garden angel ($12.95) and take her home to your garden. She is lovingly crafted by Grant Smith in Kimberley, BC.
"A huge dorsal fin of a whale shark poked out of the water and everyone in my boat yelled "Get into the water NOW!!" Naturally I was thinking there was no way. This thing was HUGE and about 5 feet away from the boat...but I succumbed to the peer pressure and jumped in...the bravest moment of my life considering how scared of sharks I am! My guide said that it was about 25 feet long!!!
Theresa says, “The best thing about Secret Garden is the yummy treats of course! It is such a warm and inviting place and has become a favorite celebration spot for all of us. We started meeting there for birthday celebrations, and that just evolved into 'due date' lunches.”
